Getting ready for Easter

We fondly recall Easters spent in East Texas, especially when we display our family of eggs (thanks Trisha!!)

Yo dude!

Mike rented a Suzuki on Saturday and gave us all rides around the peninsula. Austin enjoyed arriving at play practice on the bike (oooh, aaah).

Elijah says "Cheese"

Ok, this is a fake Elijah smile--but it's still really cute. We can't wait to see you in Brownwood!!

Dreaming of the Lake!

During our spring break, we got to spend a day at the lake. Olivia seemed to enjoy herself. Can't wait to see you all! By the way, pray for rain in west texas! The water level at the lake is unbelievably low!

High Steppin'

Yippppeeeee! Our trampoline finally arrived! For Michaela's and my birthday, we got a trampoline! Here's a couple pictures of our new discovered tricks. Enjoy!

Even though it wasn't Jenna's birthday, she still got an equal turn on our new trampoline!

Weeeeeee! I had a blast!

Michaela, who was chosen to get the part as Wendy in Peter Pan (Ya Michaela!) now finally gets the feel of flying!

Silly Fun!

One night after dinner, the three sisters wanted to do something a little goofy. Check out these pics of how we dressed up! Haha.

Can't stand still?

Is that underwear Michaela is holding?

Nice.

Fiesta

Austin attended Cotillion tonight in his finest Mexican attire for the Fiesta Celebration. He's proud of the fact that his mother carried on his grandfather's famous haggling tradition to aquire this get-up in Ensenada.

California Math Counts

The So. Calif. competition for Math Counts was at UCI last weekend. Although Miraleste wasn't a top 3 team, 2 of the top 3 teams were from the Palos Verdes school district. Austin did well as the team captain, and we are proud of them for being at the state competition. There were a total of 44 teams and various individuals competing. This photo is of the Miraleste Math Counts team. Go Mirauders!

Blake's Art project

This is the one and only picture of the "UJC" (unidentified jumping creature) as portrayed by Blake Thomas for Art class.

Boondoggle

Garrett got to go skiing with the French class of GATE students today. They went to Bear Mt and had a blast! He was EXHAUSTED but happy, when he got home. Mike called this ski trip a total Boondoggle!!!!

A Night Dive

Michaela and I felt the summer calling on the night of March 15 and jumped in our 50-degree pool! YIKES! Enjoy these pictures of our preview of summer.

Jenna chickened out of swimming, but
she found other ways to show her summer
spirit, as you can tell!

Jump!

Growing up quickly

Jenna got all "dolled up" for a recent batmitzvah of a friend from school. Doesn't she look beautiful! She's beginning to look mighty grown grown up to her daddy. It may be time to buy that shotgun to chase away any hairy-legged boys!

Michaela's birthday

Michaela Terry turned 9 on March 5. Our family enjoyed dinner at BJs on Monday night, we were joined by the grandparents on Thursday night, and Michaela hosted a miniature golf outing and sleepover on Friday night. Don't you just love birthday weeks? We also began celebrating Jessica's 11th birthday, though her week is coming later this month.

Who am I?

Jessica is participating in Brookside Elementary School's "Women in History" Project. Can guess who she is representing?

Here are three clues:
1) I am from Albania
2) My real name is Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu
3) I won the Nobel Peace prize in 1979

City of Children Trip

The Thomas and Wall families shared a weekend mission trip with the Conejo Church to the City of Children near Ensenada, Mexico. The weather was lovely and all involved enjoyed playing with and sharing several meals with the children, delivering food to impoverished families south of Ensenada, visiting La Bufadora (the Blowhole), and more.
