Sticky Business

You aren't officially a Youth Minister until someone does something to your car or house.

Apparently, we've now ben accepted by our group as ligit. Here are 2,800 sticky notes (roughly) on my car. It made me laugh--and the kids thought it was the coolest thing ever!!! bw

Birthday Smiles

Although we celebrate Olivia's B-day tomorrow night, and Katy's party on Saturday, we did take mom out for a little "Outback" party. Here's the birthday girl and the kids! Lot's of fun!

King's Kamp

Blue tongued cousins enjoying King's Kamp!
Justin is green tongued (he's Linda's oldest!!)
Yo-da mama and a planetary bum showed up at the dress up night
We are NOT of this world!!
Garrett dodges wet, dirty spongy things
Blake and Michaela stop briefly for a pic - it was a great week!
The Gophers
Andy and I led a group of girls on a hike one afternoon
Andy pauses to reflect on who made us and all we see...
Austin takes a dare to eat pure cinnamon!

Andy and a group of Conejo girls formed a soccer team for the tournament. The Thomas boys (all 3), plus Jenna and 3 others took 2nd in that tournament. Andy and the Conejos won 1, and lost 2 games, but had great, sweaty fun.
Jessica's cabin's skit was a routine to "I'll make a man out of you" from Mulan.
Blake caught several little lizards this week - very cute!
Jenna, the Kraft Princess!
Sorry I didn't get a picture of Carrie! She worked really hard too! Andy and Carrie taught 8th grade, Phyllis and Roslyn (from University Church) taught a 6/7/8 combo group and Austin was a Gopher (go-for this, go-for that), and Jenna was a Kraft Princess. We all did other duties as needed, but a highlight for Carrie and Phyllis was not having to decide what meals would be, not having to cook, and not having to clean up!! Truly a time of retreat and service : )

Jessica's b-day trip to Six Flags

We cooled things off by riding the Jetstreamer

Jessica and Garrett getting off our first ride: VIPER

Jessica & boys on the Swashbuckler

Lunch was at the Mooseburger Lodge
Everyone loves Goliath!
There WAS funnel cake on those plates!!
We ended our day at In N Out (wish you were here Ben!)
