City of Children Trip

The Thomas and Wall families shared a weekend mission trip with the Conejo Church to the City of Children near Ensenada, Mexico. The weather was lovely and all involved enjoyed playing with and sharing several meals with the children, delivering food to impoverished families south of Ensenada, visiting La Bufadora (the Blowhole), and more.

Fun pics, great memories. Some of my memories haunt me (how can we make a difference in their very poor lives), but most of my memories are of happy children. I want to go back knowing more Spanish. It was such a delight to go with you guys and the Conejo group. Thanks for letting us "tag along."

It was awesome to have you guys there. I like having cousin memories tied to service to others! One of my favorite memories is of the boy cousins playing soccer with all the kids.

What a great way to spend time together! We wish we could be there too!

Ben leaves Sunday for Mexico for a mission survey trip with some of our teens and parents. They are going to an orphanage we hope to return to this summer. I would so love to go...but for everything there is a season...
