Garrett and his mom after Cotillion
Friday night's Cotillion included the Mother/Son (or Father/daughter) dance and the Waltz competition. I was lucky enought to attend the 6th grade dance and the 7th grade dance, so I could dance w/ Blake and Garrett. I got a pic of Blake and me on my cell phone, but I don't know how to transfer it onto my computer... We took this pic after we got home so he could show off his new hardware: the trophy from the Waltz contest!!! He and Lauren (a friend from our neighborhood whom he selected to dance with) were "crowned" prince and princess of the Waltz! (2nd place) The King of the Waltz was another soccer player from Garrett's MIS soccer team. It was quite a thrill. But my favorite was dancing with my boys - they are both very good at leading : )

Sounds like a fun evening! It seems the Wall family has an even wider range of talent than I thought- we've got dancers!

Jessica, the boys probably get their dancing gene from Aunt Phyllis (they certainly didn't get it from me!).
