After the temporary splint came off we could see the deformed knuckle...
Poor finger can hardly point to the Xrays...
After a shot of novacain, Blake was very brave while the doctor manipulated his bone. Then they set the bone with this plaster splint.
Since the splint looks like a sock puppet, Blake and I added some touches to make it more personal. Blake named his new appendage "Dr. Pain"
He can't wait for the cousins to sign it this weekend when we are in Oak Park!!

Love the "embellishments" to the cast! I'm sorry about your broken finger, though! I hope it heals fast!
