Our balcony from our room on Mykonos

After MANY hours of layover in Athens, we arrived on windy Mykonos late at night. We were delighted to wake up to this lovely sight! It was fantastic to see the Katches, so far from home. We walked to the fourno (bakery) for breakfast.

Our hotel was really close to this huge footbol field! Oh joy!

We can see the soccer field from our room - we can almost see Garrett and Blake and Jacey and Raquel...

We rented mopeds and quads so we could explore this beautiful island. We serched for beaches and when we found a nice one, we went swimming!

Blake took turns riding behind mom or dad. He liked being behind dad better because he was a better scooter driver... (lean mom!!)

Garrett and Mike are ready to go!

We stopped along the way for necessities like ice cream.

Breakfast on the patio : ) Love those bougatsas!

This beach looks good! Let's swim and dig!

The water is so clear and unbelievably blue!

We all rode the bus into Mykonos town for dinner and shopping.

Mike & Phyllis with the famous Mykonos windmills in the background.

Our crew takes up a lot of space at restaurants!

Ocean front dining at sunset with good friends. Just doesn't get much better!

This pelican was just walking through this restaurant...

Thomas family on the harbor - can't believe how upscale Mykonos is now compared to 20 years ago! Since the cruise ships all stop here, the shops cater to a more affluent crowd...

What an incredible trip!
Sis, Mykonos is such a fun island!! Sorry to hear about Austin's crash, but I'm sure that will be one of the most unforgettable events of the trip. I'm very glad he's ok!! Wish I could have been there with my family!!
