Paros
The next Greek island we visited was Paros, a short boat ride from Mykonos. Blake and Jacey did this thing with their hands called "slide", which reminded me of "patty cake". But, they got pretty fast!!!
We ate gyro almost daily. Here's the adult table...
here's the teen table...
and, here's the pre-teen table. Yum!!
We also rented mopeds and quads on this island and went exploring. This deserted and calm beach was a great place to skip rocks.
On this island we rented Austin a quad and a helmet. No more crashes like the one on Mykonos!!! Scared his mother to death since she was right behind him! He just veared off the road and into the hillside, tearing up the moped and his arm...
We hit the town on our "bikes" for a date night!
What a beautiful beach!
"I'll race you, Mrs. Katch!" says Blake
While Garrett was driving the quad in this open field, they got a flat tire. It took them about 1 hour to come out and repair it.
The next repair was needed when Austin's brand new quad stopped dead in its tracks. Took them about 45 minutes to bring us a replacement quad, so we played at the beach and ate our picnic lunch.
Continuing on our island adventure, we encountered ice cream!
This beach was interesting because of the dramatic rock formations. The beach part was still very sandy.
Another date night!!! More delicious Greek food!!
Leaving Paros - we look like tourists, don't we?
