This year, all the California cousins joined as Michaela (& Andy & Carrie) made the long hard climb to the 8,800 foot summit. We'll all very proud of Michaela and very appreciative of how all the cousins did it together. In accordance with tradition, we bought her a "I Made it to the Top" t-shirt following our adventure. Perhaps Alex and Katie will be next?

Looks like I need to post the photo of the Thomas clan at Nevada Falls. Mike and I hiked with the group until the top of Nevada Falls, then went back to the campsite to move to a new site...

Marty, I wish you could be there too! You would have loved it (and we would have loved having you there).
andy, you better be careful what you say- i might surprise you and be sitting right there with you guys!! if, or should i say when we all get together and go, i am going on the hike to Half Dome with you guys. i always wanted the shirt but was too scared to climb it but, i think i will be ready the next time i'm in yosemite!!

Yes, Alex & Katy will be soon to add to the list--but they've never been to Yosemite!!!! I can't stand it. I'm getting all emo!!! Way to go Michaela--what a great achievement!!
